Formula Fun-raiser at Pizza My Heart Take 2

Shop N Time

Silvio Perez (Formula SAE Powertrain team lead) shown manufacturing the prototype plenum and runners for the 2010 FSAE racecar, Sr-2. Once the prototype is done, it will be tested on the 2009 FSAE racecar. We will then record data and compare it to calculations based on theory.

Smile, You're on Display

David Voth showed off the new LCD for the 2010 SJSU Formula SAE racecar, SR-2. The display was provided by Reach Technology Inc. based out of Fremont, CA.

The team will be programming it to display important data such as water temperature, oil pressure, and RPM. We will be incorporating the LCD into our own custom designed and manufactured steering wheel later this year.

Formula Fun-raiser at Pizza My Heart

The Formula SAE SJSU Team hosted its first fundraising event at Pizza My Heart. The event was a huge success thanks to all of you who participated. Special thanks to Pat Plant from the San Jose Presbytery , Dave Hadden from Arlo, Inc, Lilly Wilderman from the MAE Dept., parents of John Wolf, and Pizza My Heart on San Carlos.

The team will be collaborating with Pizza My Heart again on November 10 from 4pm-9pm. Hope to see you there.

SAE International at the SFR SCCA AutoX

Our SAE International SJSU student chapter participated in the San Francisco Region SCCA autocross at Marina, CA. We informed the SFR SCCA about what Formula SAE is and impressed them with the performance of our vehicle.
