2009 Student Organization Leadership Conference

Today was the 7th annual Student Organization Leadership Conference hosted by Student Involvement . This was a great opportunity to meet leaders and members from over 300 student organizations on campus. Throughout the day workshops were held to help the students develop skills from recruiting members to balancing academics and leadership.

Thank you to Student Involvement and their volunteers for doing an excellent job hosting and organizing this event.

SAE International and the Spartan Daily

Our Formula Hybrid team was interviewed by Leonard from the Spartan Daily. Our team answered Leonard's questions and gave him information about the Formula Hybrid project and intercollegiate competition. The article will be published next week.

2009 Fall Spartan Squad Sport Kickoff

Our student members spent an evening playing games, singing songs, getting free ice cream and Spartan Squad t-shirts. This event was an exciting and fun way to gain interest in student activities and events.

First SJSU FSAE AutoX event at NorCal UFO

Our Formula SAE team entered it's first official AutoX event. This was an exciting event for our team. We got to showcase our racecar to autocross enthusiasts and showed how well our car performs.

Uncorked at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca

Our SAE International student chapter spent this past weekend at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca.

With over 5,000 spectators, we really exposed our FSAE team to the racing industry. We invited U.C. Davis to join the fun. Our teams are the only FSAE teams to ever traverse the world renown Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca.
